Light dinner from yesterday... Just a cucumber salad (or a cold soup if you will) made of finely grated cucumber, acidophilus milk, basil, and lemon juice, with a few drops od olive oil with garlic and chilli. Cherries again... I wanted to make a cherry clafoutis but I'm not quite sure if what I created was really that. It was quite good though. I don't remember the exact recipe but you just pour a batter that resembles a pancake batter (the same ingredients) into a baking dish, add pitted cherries and bake for about 40-50 minutes. It's easy! ----- Znovu tresne, chtela jsem upect tresnovy clafoutis, ale nejsem si jista, jestli to, co z toho vylezlo, je opravdu ono. Je to podobne lite bublanine, jestli nekdo znate. Carrot, potato and ginger soup, the easiest soup ever... Just fry lightly an onion until translucent, then add chopped potatoes and carrots and a little bit of grated ginger, add rosemary, salt and pepper and a vegetable broth and cook until the potatoes and carrots get soft. Blend everything with a hand blender. When in plates, add a few drops of pumpkin or olive oil and sprinkle over some roasted pumpkin seeds. ----- Nejjednodussi polivka ever, recept je z knizky Polevky z edice Apetit. A quick snap of a cheesecake that I've made for my BF's mom's birthday. The cherry layer on the top is made of our homegrown cherries, I found the recipe online (google homemade cherry pie filling). I was a bit disappointed when I found that many, even very famous chefs use store bought canned fillings for their cherry cakes. It's so easy to make! The base is made of oats, wholegrain biscuits, butter and brown sugar, the cheese filling consists of cottage cheese, ricotta, sour creme, orange zest, sugar, a little bit of flour and 2 eggs. Let me know if you need exact measures and steps... (Oh and I sprinkled it all with some crushed cocoa beans.) ----- Rychla fotka cheesecaku, ktery jsem vyrobila k narozeninam pritelove mamince. Horni vrstva je z domacich tresni (googlila jsem "homemade cherry pie filling") a navrch jsem nasypala trochu drcenych kakaovych bobu. Korpus je z vlocek, celozrnnych susenek, masla a hnedeho cukru, tvarohova napln z tvarohu, ricotty, zakysane smetany, pomerancove kury, cukru, trochy mouky a 2 vajec. Cherry season is here! Past few days have been just about them. I've already made cherry jam, compote, dumplings, a sponge cake, and lemonade. Today the time has come for this yoghurt with whole wheat grains, honey, sunflower seeds and, of course, 🍒.
